Forest Bathing

Invigorate yourself with an experience that begins with a 2 km walk. The difficulty level varies between easy and intermediate, as we will climb to the beginning of our forest. The rest of the hike would be easy and comfortable. Along the route we will carry out activities to connect with nature, through the activation of our senses.

At the end of the tour and to finish in the best possible way, we will have a tea ceremony

Shirin Yoku, or Forest Bathing, is a well-being practice carried out in a natural environment. You will feel its calming effects as you walk and activate your senses.

The Azores provide excellent conditions for this practice as Cryptomeria (Japanese Cedar) releases monoterpenes with therapeutic effects.

These benefits contribute to effective “battery charging”. Providing access to a greater level of rest and regeneration, the effects of which will last over time

Here the forest and water will always be present. Let yourself be surprised by its beauty, fragrances, textures and flavors.

You're here for a brief visit. Take your time, relax and be sure to smell the flowers along the way.

What to bring: Appropriate footwear for walking, Comfortable clothing for rain and/or sun, Water and a shelter to sit on the ground.
